Your position
In your new position as Junior, SCADA Engineer in the Renewables division, you will join a team of highly capable and motivated employees working to deliver SCADA and substation solutions for our global construction projects with our Engineering colleagues.
Together, we have constructed one of the largest project portfolios within offshore substations in Northern Europe. Our Offshore markets include Europe, Taiwan and the USA, which means that you can expect to be involved in projects worldwide. Your tasks & responsibilities
As our Junior, SCADA Engineer, you will be involved in projects from the start-up phase with tender activities until the project is handed over to the end customer, but also occasional in FEED/concept studies. You will help ensuring that all SCADA project-related tasks are completed meeting our high-quality standards in time and within project contracts.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Design and engineering of SCADA and Control system, in cooperation with internal specialists, supporting the Protection and Auxiliary systems designs while securing technical requirements and interfaces.
- Create proposals, technical solutions, and project documentation.
- Participate in client and supplier workshops and meetings to ensure that scope and technical solution is according to contract
- Support execution and factory & site acceptance tests (FAT/SAT), including commissioning of SCADA related systems and interfaces.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- A relevant educational background, e.g., in electrical engineering, marine engineering or similar experience in automation, control, communication and/or protection systems.
- Interested in the renewable or related industries is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

The position is full-time and will involve some travelling to other Semco Maritime offices, sub-suppliers and to project sites. You should expect up to 30 travel days annually for work. Working from home some days during the month is an option.
