Your position 
At Semco Maritime we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Discipline Engineer to join us on an exciting offshore project!
You will have a challenging job in an international and ever-changing environment. You will be an important part of the offshore team that manages the offshore scope of work.
The offshore execution phase is currently being carried out in the Danish North Sea and the scope of work is a combination of maintenance and modification tasks.

Your tasks & responsibilities 
As a Mechanical Discipline Engineer you will be responsible for mechanical scopes, ensuring that all work is carried out according to the design and relevant standards.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Being responsible for correct as-built documentation and final handover to QC and 3rd party verification.
  • Ensuring clear interfaces towards suppliers and subcontractors with respect to scope of work, system design and area design
  • Ensuring qualified discipline participation within Quality Surveillance and follow-up of suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Assisting in work scope overview, material overview and execution according project plan
  • Being a focal point between Construction Lead and respective discipline foremen
  • Acting as a mentor for Discipline Foremen

Your profile & qualifications 
As a person you are reliable and trustworthy, you enjoy keeping the overview of the given tasks and following up on work.

To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:

  • Marine engineer, or equivalent technical discipline qualification within mechanic / construction, may be considered
  • Experience from a similar role as a Discipline Engineer within mechanical project commissioning
  • Good communication skills in written and verbal English
  • EDP user knowledge in SAP and PIMS CMS

Practical information:
Place of work: Mobilization from Esbjerg, offshore 
Employment terms: Project position, full time, rotation 2:3
Project duration: As soon as possible until Q1 2024, extension to be expected
Future possibilities: Other projects, permanent positions, and on-shore opportunities
